Masters athletes take age-group wins at USA Cross Country Championships presented by Gleukos
In addition to selecting the Team USA that will compete at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, The USA Cross Country Championships presented by Gleukos featured the USA Masters 8 km Cross Country Championships.
The following champions were crowned in each division:

Freescale Austin Marathon has 24 Olympic Trials Qualifiers
AUSTIN, Texas - The 2006 Freescale Austin Marathon on Sunday, February 19, had 24 people qualify for the 2008 Olympic Trials Marathon. The Freescale Austin Marathon also offered financial incentives for athletes who qualify for the 2008 Olympic Trials Marathon at the race.
Leading the American men, Jim Jurcevich (Columbus, Ohio), ran a personal best of 2:14:28 to finish fourth-place overall. Heather Hunt (Englewood, Colo.) led American women, running 2:42:52 for fifth-place overall.
"Our Elite Athlete Coordinator, Greg McMillan is the reason this entire thing worked,' said John Conley, Executive Director of the Austin Marathon Foundation. "He had the vision. He has the passion. He is persuasive. It's the perfect mix."
Since the beginning of the 2008 Olympic Trials Qualifying period, 27 women and 25 men have qualified for the 2008 trials.
