Shore AC, Lemans take team titles at USATF Club Championships

NEW YORK - The Shore Athletic Club of New Jersey on Saturday won the men's title at the fifth annual USA Track & Field National Club Championships at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island with 140 points. The LeMans Track Club of New York City took the women's championship with 160.5 points. Eighteen meet records were broken at the meet.

The New York Elite Track Club of New York finished second in the men's standings with 136 points, with Executive Track, also of New York, finished third with 103 points. For the women, the Greater Boston Track Club finished second with 148.5 points, with the Mid Atlantic Elite Track Club of Washington, D.C., finishing third with 94 points.

More than 800 athletes on 50 clubs from 21 states competed in the two-day event at the new track, which opened this season. The meet was held in Indiana its first four years.
