Monday Olympic Track & Field Preview

Twenty-year-old Jeremy Wariner (Waco, Texas), leads Derrick Brew (Raleigh, N.C.) and Otis Harris (Columbia, S.C.) in an American-heavy men's 400m final at Olympic Stadium Monday night. Other American finalists Monday include five-time Olympian Jearl Miles-Clark (Knoxville, Tenn.) in the women's 800m, Casey Malone (Fort Collins, Colo.) in the men's discus throw and Teresa Vaill (Gainesville, Fla.) in the women's 20 km race walk.

Gold-medal contenders Tom Pappas (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Bryan Clay (Azusa, Calif.) begin competition in the decathlon, and 18-year-old Allyson Felix, the youngest member of Team USA, runs the rounds of the women's 200m.
