SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Team USA won both 4x400 relays in impressive fashion to cap off a dominant performance on the final day of the NACAC Under-25 Track & Field Championships at Stevens Stadium in San Antonio. United States athletes won 11 golds on Sunday to finish with 30 overall, and the squad topped the medal table with 67. Canada was the closest nation in the medal hunt with 20, including four golds.

James Carter added relay gold to the individual gold he won in the 400 hurdles Friday, leading off the 4x400 in 45.0. Mike Kenyon followed with a 45.4 second leg, and Godfrey Herring extended the U.S. lead with a 44.6 third carry. Baylor grad Brandon Couts had an easy 46.2 anchor leg to stop the clock at a meet record 3:01.15.

Open 400 silver medalist Crystal Cox raced to gold in the 200 with a meet record 23.02, and keyed the Team USA meet record 3:30.60 clocking in the women's 4x400 with a 51.9 second leg. Marie Woodward opened with a 53.3, 800 champ Chantee Earl ran 52.9 on the third leg, and 800 silver medalist Sasha Spencer anchored in 52.5.

The top men's individual performance came from pole vaulter Jeremy Scott, who battled swirling winds to improve his personal best and set a meet record with a 5.55/18-2.5 clearance. The senior-to-be from NCAA Division III Allegheny College took one attempt at 5.80/19-0.25.

Shot putter Cynthia Ademiluyi won gold and set a meet record with her 16.65/54-7.5 toss, while GiGi Miller won the heptathlon by more than 400 points with a score of 5461. Other women winning gold for the U.S. were Bethany Brewster in the 1500 and Yuliana Perez in the triple jump. Perez tied the meet record with a 13.27/43-6.5 jump.

Half-marathoner Mike Wisniewski ran a solo 1:10:50 over a difficult course at Ft. Sam Houston to round out the Team USA gold medal haul.
