Uniforms and Equipment
USATF Officials National Uniform
USATF Certified Officials must come to the event dressed appropriately and maintain a professional appearance at all times. The National Uniform should be worn at all National Championships.
- National Uniform Polo
- Khaki slacks, shorts or skirts
- Brown or khaki belt
- White shoes and socks
- National Photo ID
- Hat (outdoors) Your hat is part of your uniform. It may contain your official certification pin or meet pin only.
- National Uniform Jacket or navy blue jacket
- Starters - Indoor and Outdoor- Red Sleeves to be used. Red Blazers for TV only.
Please note that orders for any item on this page will not be processed unless you include your current USATF Officials Certification Number. If you do not have a recent certification number, contact your Association's Certification chair by clicking the Certification link in the menu on the left.
National Uniform Polo and Hat (ball cap style)
The National Uniform Polo and Hat can be purchased only from The Porch Collection
and you must have a current USATF Officials Certification Number and a current USATF Membership number to do so.

National Rain Gear and Outerwear
The rain gear and jacket can be purchased through Boathouse Sports, however
you must have a current USATF Officials Certification Number to do so. Orders
for the rain gear can be placed at any time however, orders are fulfilled once
a quarter on Jan. 15, April 15th, Aug. 15th and Nov. 15th. Orders will ship
approximately two weeks after each fulfillment date.

Waist Pack & Accessory Bag
The waist bag is made of khaki water resistant cordura with the official USATF logo
embroidered on the front. The bag measures 7.5" high and 8.5" wide with a 1.5" wide,
52" long adjustable belt. It is large enough to hold a USATF Rule Book or most finish
line printer/timer devices. The optional accessory bag for a Palm Pilot, or pens,
sunshades, cell phones, walkie-talkies, etc. measures 6.75" high x 4.5" wide. It
is made of the same material as the waist bag
