• 12/15/09 - Shelby Sharpe (Southwestern) has made available a new document entitled Track and Field Official’s Liability and How to Avoid it. He has also updated an earlier document entitled Protocols to Minimize Injury and Liability.Both items can be found on our website under the Meet Management Section

• 12/4/09 - Interim Officials Treasurer Sue Polansky was elected to fill the last year remaining on the original term of Ken Taylor
• 11/30/09 - ITO News

  Four candidates from the United States went to Paris to take the ITO test: John Blackburn, George Kleeman, Bob Podkaminer and Eric Zemper. It was announced at the time that no country would have more than two ITOs unless they all scored above 80%; then there might be three.

  Congratulations are in order to the following officials: John Blackburn, Bob Podkaminer and Eric Zemper (all scoring above 80%) as they have been appointed ITOs for the 2010 – 2013 period. George Kleeman (scoring slightly below 80%) has been appointed to the NACAC ATO panel as the fourth scorer.
