The program produced 17 NAIA All-Americans, three NAIA Academic All-Americans, 65 NAIA national qualifiers, 15 RRAC Individual Champions, 103 RRAC All-Conference and 47 RRAC Academic All-Conference honors. Additionally, Venable twice received the Red-River Conference Men's Coach of the Year Award (2009 and 2012). Venable has his USATF Level 3 and IAAF Level V Coaching Education certifications in the jumping events and is completing the requirements for the same certifications in the sprints, hurdles relays events.

Joel is completing the requirements to receive his USATF Level 3/ IAAF Level V coaching certification in the Endurance events. Additionally, he has his USATF Level 2 in Combined Events and the Jumps. Prior to Kennesaw State, Pearson worked as the Head XC and Asst T&F coach at North Carolina A&T State University where his athletes re-wrote the record book with 8 school records and recorded 40 all-time top 10 marks. Before leading the Aggies, Pearson did coaching stents at the University of Iowa and Whatcom CC. As a private coach and founder of Harrier Track Club, an Olympic development program, Pearson has trained three National Junior qualifiers and an American Jr record holder. He is currently finishing his master’s degree in sports science from the United States Sports Academy.
  • John Baumann is in his seventh season as the throws coach at Oklahoma State University after spending six seasons at the University of Illinois. Similar success has been achieved in women's outdoors on Baumann's watch, as four of Oklahoma State's top six outdoor marks in the shot put, five of the top six outdoor marks in the discus and five of the top eight outdoor marks in the hammer throw have been achieved since Baumann arrived in Stillwater.  In 2007 Baumann was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame based on his stellar career at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.  Bauman and his wife, Lisa, have three daughters, Catabrean, Holly and Sadie, and one son, Max.
