From the Northwest
Follow I-64 East or I-75 South. These interstates
merge; take the Lexington-Paris exit (Exit 113). From the ramp, turn right on
North Broadway. Follow North Broadway to Fourth Street. Transylvania's campus is
between Fourth and Third streets.
From the East and South
Follow I-64 West or I-75 North. These
interstates merge; take the Lexington-Paris exit (Exit 113). From the ramp, turn
right on North Broadway. Follow North Broadway to Fourth Street. Transylvania's
campus is between Fourth and Third streets.
From the Southwest
Take I-65 North to Elizabethtown. Take the Bluegrass
Parkway exit at Elizabethtown, and follow this to the end of the Parkway; bear
right to Lexington. Follow this road approximately 10 miles to downtown
Lexington. After the street becomes one-way, turn left on Broadway and go seven
blocks to Third Street. Transylvania's campus is between Third and Fourth
streets. Parking is available in the parking lots off of 4th street behind the
Art building and Brown Science building.
Signage from the parking lot to the classrooms will be provided.

- Matt Lydum, PhD served as the Head Men's Track Coach at
San Francisco State University for eight years before beginning his doctoral
work at the University of Arizona. He was the 1998 NCAA DII Regional Coach
of the Year and has represented the USOC at the International Olympic
Academy. He has worked with numerous NAIA & NCAA DII All-Americans. More
recently, Lydum has served as Assistant Coach on several international USATF
Youth teams and authored a book entitled Coaching Youth Track and Field.
Lydum has completed the USATF Coaching Education Level 2 Program in Sprints,
Hurdles, Relays; Jumps; Combined events, and Throws and acts as the Director
of the USATF Level 2 - Youth Specialization.
- David Pavlansky was the head boys' track and cross
country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2011. Twice named OAT&CCC
District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred
Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country. In 2007 he
was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the
Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida. During Dave’s tenure
Boardman teams produced numerous All-Ohio athletes, Indoor and Outdoor state
champions, as well as two Nike All-Americans. Dave has USATF Level 2
certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he
currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the
Midwest and Upper East Coast.
- John Hartpence has served as Head XC/TF coach at
Defiance College for the past seven years, and directed All-Americans,
All-Ohio Champions and numerous conference and regional MVP’s during his
tenure. In his previous position, as the head track coach at Dickinson
College (PA) his teams won five conference championships and he was twice
named USTFCCCA Regional Coach of the Year. He is certified Level 2 in Jumps,
