- Rogers Glispy is Athletic Director at the Community
College of Philadelphia after serving successfully there as track & field
and cross country coach. As a coach, his teams won eight state
championships and nine state conference championships and he earned the
Glispy Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association Cross-Country Coach of
the Year on six occasions. He is a Level 2 Coach in Jumps and Endurance and
recently attended the IAAF Level 5 Sprints/Hurdles/Relays Academy.
- Dr. Matt Lydum most recently served as the assistant
professor of physical education and field events coach at Defiance College
in Northwest Ohio. He is an active researcher, writer, teacher, and
administrator on issues related to youth in sport. As School Director of
the USATF Youth Level 2 Program, USOC Delegate to the International Olympic
Academy, and project writer for the Human Kinetics publication, Coaching
Youth Track & Field, he seeks to expand access to coaching education
and promote physical activity opportunities for children.
- Kevin McGill is one of the founding fathers of the
USATF Coaching Education Program. He is the co-author of The Throws Manual
and has been name an IAAF lecturer for the throwing events. Very recently,
McGill co-authored “The Hammer Throw Handbook”. McGill has spent over 40
years coaching, including 12 years at Columbia University.
