$75 - Alumni pricing for those who have already taken and successfully completed
the Level 1 Course. Please contact

Instructors
- Andrew Allden is the School Director & Endurance Instructor. He is a Level 1 and 2 Endurance Instructor and has 18 years experience as Division I Coach. He was selected as the 2003 Southeast Men’s Coach of the Year and coached the 2001 Division I Men’s 800m Champion.
- Matt Lydum is assistant professor of physical education and field events coach at Defiance College in Northwest Ohio. He is an active researcher, writer, teacher, and administrator on issues related to youth in sport. As School Director of the USATF Youth Level 2 Program, USOC Delegate to the International Olympic Academy, and project writer for the Human Kinetics publication of the book Coaching Youth Track & Field, he seeks to expand access to coaching education and promote physical activity opportunities for children.
- Kevin McGill is the Throws Instructor for the LIU Level 1 School. He is a co-founder of the USATF Coaching Education Program and co-author of the Throws Manual. He has been named an IAAF “Official Lecturer” for throwing events and has over 40 years of coaching experience.
- Loren Seagrave is the Level 1 School Director and a USATF Master Coach in the sprints and hurdles. He is the Co-Founder of Speed Dynamics and Velocity Sport Performance. He has been a USATF Coaching Education instructor since 1983. He has coached dozens of World Championship and Olympic Medalists and is the IAAF Curriculum Coordinator for Certification in the Sprints.
