Registration Information

$150.00 - Pre-registration (received by October 5, 2012)
$200.00 - Late Registration (received after October 5, 2012 or on-site)
$75 - Alumni pricing for those who have already taken and successfully completed the Level 1 Course. Please contact shayna.sangster@usatf.org to verify alumni status and register for the course.

Instructors

  • Andrew Allden is the School Director & Endurance Instructor.  He is a Level 1 and 2 Endurance Instructor and has 18 years experience as Division I Coach.  He was selected as the 2003 Southeast Menís Coach of the Year and coached the 2001 Division I Menís 800m Champion.
  • Dr. Matt Lydum is assistant professor of physical education and field events coach at Defiance College in Northwest Ohio.  He is an active researcher, writer, teacher, and administrator on issues related to youth in sport.  As School Director of the USATF Youth Level 2 Program, USOC Delegate to the International Olympic Academy, and project writer for the Human Kinetics publication of the book Coaching Youth Track & Field, he seeks to expand access to coaching education and promote physical activity opportunities for children.
  • Dave Pavlansky is the Sprints and Jumps instructor for the University of Pittsburgh Level 1 School. He has over 30 years of Coaching experience and has been a USATF Instructor since 2004. Pavlansky has completed the Level 2 course in the Jumps, Endurance and Sprints/Hurdles/Relays and was named the 2007 Ohio State Cross Country Coach of the Year.
