: Take 59 North, exit toward Greenbriar Dr./Shepherd Dr. Turn right on Greenbriar Dr. Drive past Rice Blvd and park in the lot NW of the Football Stadium. The "R" room is upstairs on the SW side of the Football Stadium.

From 605 East Loop: Take I-10 West, exit onto 59 South, exit toward Greenbriar Dr./Shepherd Dr. Turn left onto Greenbriar Dr. Drive past Rice Blvd and park in the lot NW of the Football Stadium. The "R" room is upstairs on the SW side of the Football Stadium.

Instructors

  • Tony Veney, Men's sprint coach at UCLA. Has been coaching track since 1977 with stints at Occidental College, Cal State Northridge, Portland State and Oregon before going to UCLA. Has been involved with USATF since 1987. Is a USATF Level 3 Clinician and a USATF Master of Coaching. Has served on the coaching staffs of numerous national teams for international competitions.
  • Richie Mercado, Competed as a decathlete at the University of Virginia. He has coached for 23 years at St. John's School, during that time has coached dozens of conference champions in the pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump. USATF Level 2 Coach for Jumps.
  • Casey Thom, Men's Sprints, Throws, and Multi-Events Coach at Rice University. Was an All-American decathlete from the University of Nebraska. Before arriving at Rice University he also had stints at UCLA, Tulane, and the University of Nebraska. USATF Level 2 in the Sprints, Jumps, Throws and Multi-Events.
