Minority Women Coaching Education Scholarship

A matching grant provided by the NCAA and USA Track & Field will fund scholarships for a select number of minority women coaches to attend USATF Coaching Education courses during the 2011 academic year. These scholarships are available to ethnic minority women track and field coaches.

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to ethnic minority women coaches.

Requirements

• A USA Track & Field Membership
• Resume of coaching background/experience
• Letter of recommendation from the Athletic Director or Head Coach of current coaching position (if applicable)

Application Process and Notification

The scholarship application is available online via the link below. Only complete applications will be accepted for review. Prior to starting the application please ensure you have all of the above requirement information readily available, including your 2011 USATF membership number and password.

Awardees will be notified within two weeks of application submission. Scholarships will be awarded until funds are depleted. All Scholarships must be utilized during the 2011 academic year.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit an evaluation form upon completion of the school. Evaluation Form and must be received within 30 days following the event.
