Mountain/Ultra/Trail
Athlete Profile Criteria
In addition to being a current member of USATF, an athlete must satisfy one
or more of the following:
- Athlete has at least one win in a major mountain, ultra, or trail race
within past three years (Masters and age-group wins included).
- Athlete has raced on a USATF-sanctioned national team within the last
two years.
- Athlete has at least one major trail record or "FKT" (Fastest Known
Time) on a major trail (e.g., John Muir Trail, Appalachian Trail, etc.).
- Athlete has placed in top three in USATF Mountain/Ultra/Trail
Championship within the last three years.
- Athlete has broken an American or World mountain, ultra, or
trail-running record (Masters and age-group records included).
