Mad City to Host Top Runners for the 2008 USA 100 km Championship
Madison, Wisconsin – The second annual Mad City 100K will take
place in Madison, Wisconsin, on Saturday, April 12, 2008. The race is open to
all runners, however to be eligible for national championships and prize money
individual runners must be U.S. citizens and current members of USATF. A prize
purse of $9,650 has been established. Click the race home page for the breakdown

The distance, 100 kilometers, is just over 62 miles. Competitors will run the
scenic 10-kilometer course around Lake Wingra ten times providing support crews
and spectators many opportunities to see the athletes during the event. There is
a 13 hour time limit to complete the race.
