Post-Collegiate Scholarship Fund
USA Track & Field is proud to be building on the success of the Post-Collegiate Scholarship Fund (PCSF), which was launched in 2001. Last year, the PCSF distributed $100,000 in aid. The PCSF was created to assist post-collegiate athletes who have completed their college eligibility but wish to continue their track & field career.
In order to receive funding from the PCSF, an athlete must:
The USATF Athlete Support Committee and a member of the USOC Sport Partnership Team will be responsible for reviewing all PCSF applications and for selecting the program's recipients and the amount of funding received. Funding will vary among recipients given that distributions are based upon an athlete's athletic ability as well as their "reported" financial need.
In addition, athletes will be required to attend an Educational Summit (Rookie Camp) featuring seminars on drug testing, life as an Elite Athlete, USOC/USATF support programs, and media training.
Athletes who have questions about the application process can contact USATF's Melissa Beasley at 317-713-4650 or by e-mail at Melissa.Beasley@usatf.org.
