Classes and Attendance

Classes will be held in various lecture halls on the UNLV campus. 100% attendance is mandatory at all sessions. Be on time.

Starting and Ending Dates/Times

Packet pick-up will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. (location to be announced). The Level 2 School will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1. All first-time participants must be present at this time.

The program will conclude with student evaluations of the staff and graduation at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 8. Attendance at the closing session is mandatory in order to receive your Level 2 certificate. When making travel arrangements, keep in mind that the entire program will last until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, but please be advised that you should not purchase a plane ticket until after you are notified of acceptance into the school. The room and board package does include housing on Saturday, July 8.

Level 2 Alumni Arrival Time

All Level 2 Alumni participants must register (in the lobby of the College Center) from 3:00-3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. Please note that alumni will not be allowed to check in prior to July 4.

Departure Time

All Level 2 participants must check out of their dorms before 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 9. The Level 2 School concludes by 6:00 p.m. on July 8. Participants may depart anytime after that. Housing for July 8 is included in the room and board package, and participants are encouraged to stay that night and enjoy some post-school socializing with their fellow Level 2 graduates. Please note that departure prior to the closing session will result in the forfeiture of your Level 2 certificate. You will leave with newfound knowledge, but not your USATF Level 2 certificate!
