Event Groups Offered (and class size limits)

  • Sprints/Hurdles/Relays (50 students- class is full)
  • Endurance (50 students)
  • Jumps (50 students)
  • Throws (35 students)
  • Combined Events (25 students)

Alumni School applicants to Level 2 schools: To qualify for Alumni School, one must have completed at least one area of Level 2. Alumni participants do not have to repeat the Sports Science section of Level 2 school.

Fees and Deadlines

DO NOT send your fee with your application. If your application for the school is accepted, you will be contacted and asked to submit your fee. You must pay your fee in full within two weeks of being notified of your acceptance.

A $50 late fee applies to all registrations postmarked after 6/9/06. No applications will be accepted after 6/29/06.

Level 2 refund policy

  • Up to 4 weeks prior to the application deadline: Full refund minus $25.00
  • 2-4 weeks prior to the application deadline: Full refund minus $100.00
  • 2 weeks prior to the application deadline: Tuition only if room and board package is involved; tuition minus $100.00 if the room and board was not purchased
  • No refund will be given after the application deadline. A tuition voucher will be available for use at a future school if requested between the deadline and the first day of the school.

Additional Required Documents

All applicants (including alumni) must submit the following along with this application:

  1. Provide a brief (two pages maximum) resume or vita, which includes pertinent information regarding your personal athletic experience, all coaching positions held, and any related activities (e.g., camps, clinics, publications, presentations). Include the names and addresses of three individuals as references.
  2. Provide a one-page outline of your approach to coaching or developing athletes in the event group for which you have applied.
  3. Notification of Acceptance will be done via email within three weeks of receiving the application. Acceptance is based on qualifications and not on a "first come, first served" basis, however each event group will be closed once maximum group size is reached.
