Travel Information

Air Travel

There are two airport options:

• The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (SHD) is approximately 20 minutes from JMU and is serviced by US Air.
• Washington Dulles International (IAD) is serviced by all major airlines and is approximately 2 hours from JMU.

Ground Transportation

A shuttle bus is available for transportation to/from the Washington Dulles International (IAD) airport and will operate on the following schedule:

Saturday, July 9 Depart Dulles at 3:00 PM Arrive JMU 5:00 PM
Tuesday, July 12 Depart JMU at 7:00 AM Arrive Dulles 9:30 AM
Tuesday, July 12 Depart Dulles at 3:00 PM Arrive JMU 5:00 PM
Sunday, July 17 Depart JMU at 7:00 AM Arrive Dulles 9:00 AM

A reservation is required on or before Tuesday, July 5th at 3:00 PM ET. Payment may be made at the time of departure, but a reservation MUST be made in advance. The cost is $40 round trip (cash, check, Visa or Mastercard will be accepted).
