Refund policy: Only 1/2 of the registration fee ($62.50) will be refunded after the registration deadline, and no refund will be given after the start date.

Travel

Air Travel: Houston is serviced by all major airlines into Bush International Airport and Hobby Airport.

Ground Transportation: Taxi service from either airport to Rice will run approximately $35.00 each way. USATF will not be offering any ground transportation for this school.

Housing and Meals

The room and board package for Level 1 participants includes dorm housing on July 12-14, as well as three meals per day beginning with dinner on 7/12 and concluding with dinner on 7/14. The cost is $175. The housing form is included as part of the printable registration form above.

No early check-in or late check-out of dorms will be possible. You may check in to your dorm anytime after 2:00 p.m. All Level 1 participants must check out of their dorms before 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15. The Level 1 School concludes by 6:00 p.m. on July 14; participants may depart anytime after that. Housing for July 14 is included in the room and board package.

Linens: Linens include pillow, pillow case, sheets, bath towel and washcloth. (note: blankets are not provided) Participants must provide their own toiletries.

Dorm Room Key Deposit: A $50 deposit will be required to pick up your room key and meal card. Rice University charges $50.00 for a lost dorm room key. The deposit can be by Visa card (preferred), cash, or check. Deposits will be returned at the end of the week when the room key is turned in.
