Instructors

  • Bud Rasmussen--Throws Coach, University of Washington.  Coach Rasmussen is a USATF Coaching Education Level 2 throws instructor. He has coached three years at the U of W and previously 9 years at North Idaho CC. Bud is the co-founder of the popular Iron Wood Throws Camp in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Bud is an experienced teacher and clinician. He has had numerous articles published on coaching and teaching the throws.
  • Bryan Hoddle--Track and Field Coach, Tenino HS, WA.  Coach Hoddle is one of Track and Field's most enthusiastic motivators and teachers. Bryan is into his 23rd year of coaching and has been successful wherever he has coached. Coach Hoddle has coached numerous state champions in Washington and is a past president of the Washington State High School Track Coaches Association. Bryan has led the USA's Para-Olympics team to their championships in Athens, Greece in 2004.
  • Tom Millbrooke, Track and Field Coach, Canby HS, OR.  Coach Millbrooke is starting his 32nd season as a head high school track and field coach (Eddyville, OR 2yrs., Ilwaco, WA - 9 yrs., and Canby, OR - 21 yrs.) Teams have won trophies in both WA and OR. Coach Millbrooke has been described as "one of Oregon's most respected coaches and an asset to our sport." Tom has successfully conducted USATF Coaching Education Level 1 schools for the past 20 years.
