From Long Beach Airport: take the 405 freeway North to the 710 South exit at Willow West. Take Willow to Santa Fe and turn left. Take Santa Fe to Willard and turn right this will take you to the main entrance of the school.

From LAX: take the 405 South to the 710 South and follow the directions above.

From the Long Beach Hilton: take Ocean BLVD to the 710 north exit at Anahiem/Ninth street. Turn right on Santa Fe and left on Willard.

From Extended Stay America: take Willow West to Santa Fe and follow the directions above.

Instructors

  • Tyler Wingard has coached at the high school and collegiate levels for the past fourteen years. He has coached 9 All-State and 10 All-Americans. He is now in his fifth year as Head Track & Field Coach at Valparaiso University where his athletes own 39 school records and 228 marks on the VU All-Time Lists. Tyler is also the USATF Coaching Education Committee Level 1 Chair.
  • Troy Engle is currently head coach of mens and womens cross country and track at Occidental College. He has coached at Kansas State, West Point, Washington University in St. Louis (head coach), and Swarthmore College (head coach). Also, Troy coached overseas in Papua New Guinea. He has conducted coaching courses for the IAAF in Papua New Guinea, Australia and American Samoa and Jamaica. Troy is the USATF Coaching Education Committee Chair and Level 2 Endurance instructor.
  • Jennifer Tuff has coached at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach for four years. She is the head coach of the cross-country program and trains the middle and long distance runners on the track team. She has completed the USATF Endurance and Throws Level 2 Programs.
