Instructor Recertification

In an ongoing effort to maintain instructional quality in the USATF Coaching Education Level 1 Program, trained instructors must re-apply every Olympiad. This process will begin immediately.  The next re-application cycle will begin January 2012. 

To be considered for instructor recertification you must:

  • Be a current member of USATF;
  • Demonstrate some recent (within the last four years) activity as an instructor in the program.  You will be prompted to provide the locations, dates and school directors for the last three schools you have served as an instructor;
  • Demonstrate related professional development activity (attending a Level 2 school, attending and/or speaking at coaches clinics, graduate work, research, CSCS, etc); and
  • Complete the online re-certification process by May 1, 2010.

Note: this is only for previously certified instructors.
