Application Process

Please be advised that you will not be a USATF-Authorized Athlete Representative for 2008 until you receive written notification thereof from USATF. This is true even if you were a USATF-Authorized Athlete Representative prior to January 1, 2008. Please also be advised that processing of your application (including conducting the mandatory criminal background screening) can take up to 45 days.

Requirements

  • Individuals seeking authorization who are not renewing from the immediately preceding year are required to attend an educational seminar and satisfactorily complete a written examination.
  • For more details about the requirements of USATF's Authorized Athlete Representative program, please refer to Regulation 16 of the USATF Governance Manual, which is incorporated by reference into the application/agreement form between each applicant and USATF.
