Entry Information

This page contains entry information regarding the 2011 World Youth Trials ONLY. There is a different entry process for the USA YOUTH Championships.

You must be a 2011 USATF member to enter the 2011 World Youth Track & Field Trials.  If you do not have a 2011 membership, please complete a membership application first. You must also be a U.S. citizen and meet the eligibility requirements and qualifying standards.

Entry Process

• Online is the only method of entry.
• A 2011 USATF membership is required to enter (please join online if you are not a member).
• To enter the Championships, you will be required to provide your 2011 USATF membership number and password (click here to retrieve your password if you don't know it).
• For entries close to the deadline:  although every reasonable effort will be made, we cannot guarantee responses to requests for passwords made close to the entry deadline. Please do not wait until the last minute to enter!
• After completing your entry online, please fax a copy of your birth certificate or the information page of your passport to the USATF National Office at 800-833-1466.

• Proof-of-age verification is required for this meet. If your entry is listed as "info needed" on the Status of Entries page or if you are notified during the online entry process, you must submit a proof-of-age document (a copy of your birth certificate or passport) with your membership number written on it to be RECEIVED by USATF on or before June 22 as follows:

Athletes will not be considered to be entered in the meet and will not be able to pick up their packets on-site unless their status is listed as "qualified" on the Status of Entries page.

Entry Fees and Deadlines

All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Online entries must be paid for by credit card (USATF only accepts Visa) or electronic funds transfer ("electronic checks").

NOTE: No late entries will be processed. The online entry system will not accept entries after June 22, 2011 Requests for entry consideration after the deadlines will not receive a response. Please enter on-time!

Note: The Heptathlon will be contested in conjunction with the USA Youth Track & Field Championships (in Myrtle Beach, S.C.). Athletes who wish to compete to represent Team USA in Lille, France must enter at the World Youth Trials link listed below. The 10,000m Race Walk will be contested in conjunction with the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships (in Eugene, Ore.).  Please visit the entry page for the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships to enter the 10,0000m Race Walk.
