2011 Associations Workshop

San Mateo Marriott – San Mateo, Calf. (just south of San Francisco)
The
Associations Committee, in cooperation with the USATF officers and the national
office staff, each year present the USATF Associations Workshop. The Workshop is
staged to keep Association personnel up-to-date on national programs,
administrative procedures, and other policies and programs, as well as to give
national officers and staff a chance to interact face-to-face with Association
personnel. Over the weekend, educational sessions, geared to improving the
professionalism of Associations, are conducted in a format that encourages
interaction between the presenters and the audience.
The Workshop is provided at no charge to the Associations, and each
Association is encouraged to have as many individuals participate as it wishes
to attend the Workshop. Travel expenses and hotel charges to the Workshop must
be born by the individual or the Association; however, USATF provides up to $600
in travel allocation to each Association to help defray some of the travel
costs.
