Team Sign Up/Declarations

Nominations to the Team

Athletes who place 1st – 3rd at the 2010 U.S. Area Youth Olympic Selection Trials – Track & Field may declare their interest to compete at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore to be held August 14-26, 2010. Athletes must be available the entire 2 week duration of the competition.*

Athletes may submit their National Team Forms (distributed at packet pick-up) by:

• Presenting the completed documents at Team Sign Up from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday April 3, 2010:

• Fax to 800-833-1466 Attn: Youth Olympic Games – National Team Forms by April 6, 2010.

Athletes who place 1st – 3rd will receive email communication from the USOC with instructions/information for completing an online registration form. The online registration process must be completed by April 12, 2010.

*Note: The provisions of the selection procedures will continue to be followed with respect to Team nominations and 2nd or 3rd place finishers will only be nominated in the event a higher place finisher declines his or her nomination to the team. See (I.B) of the Selection procedures.

Selection to the Team

Athletes selected to the team will be notified by May 15, 2010 and need to declare their intent to participate in the 2010 Youth Olympic Games by May 18, 2010.
