Chip Timing

This race will be timed using a transponder or “timing chip”. Please read these instructions carefully.

• Chips are non-transferrable. Do not switch with teammates or friends.
• Velcro and firmly attach the bracelet around both ankles before the start of the race and wear them until you reach the finish line.
• There will be a large corralled area after the finish line where the volunteers will be assisting with the removal of the timing chips. Do not leave the corralled finish area without removing both ankle timing chips.
• There is a $95.00 replacement fee missing timing chips.
• Each athlete or coach (if picking up for the athletes) will be required to sign for each chip that is assigned to them. You are responsible for returning the timing chips. Names and cell phone numbers will be required.
• If you have unused timing chips from athletes that did not start the race, please return them to registration area, the meet director or meet personnel.
