Air Travel

Ronkonkoma is on Long Island,  55 miles east of Manhattan, approximately 5 miles east of former World Cup and Pan Am Cup trials site in Hauppauge.

Long Island air travel is best served by Islip-Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), and is the Southwest Air’s principal NY Metro airport.  The Islip airport is south of the race site. John F. Kennedy (JFK) and LaGuardia (LAG) are New York City alternatives. Travelers may connect to the AirTrain to Jamaica Station and then switch to the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) main line to Ronkonkoma.
