Age Divisions

  • Age Divisions: Age of athlete on July 3, 2010.
    Open (Women 14-34 yrs.; Men 16-34 yrs)
    Masters (35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69..........).

USATF Membership & Eligibility:
USATF Membership: To enter you must be a 2010 USATF Member. You may renew/join at www.usatf.org/membership.

Minimum Ages:
Open Women - 14yrs and older
Open Men - 16yrs and older
Masters: 35yrs and older. (Athletes 35 years and older may either compete in the Masters Championships or the Open Championships. When entering you must declare which championship you are entering. You can not compete in the Open Championship in one event and the Masters Championship in another event).

Club Affiliation: If you are competing for a club at this event, this club must be listed as part of your USATF membership profile in the USATF membership database. Subject to verification.

USATF members and clubs from the following Associations are eligible to score in this meet:

  • Maine
  • Metropolitan
  • Mid-Atlantic
  • New England
  • New Jersey
  • Niagara
  • Potomac Valley
  • Three Rivers
  • Virginia (Open Championship only)

Athletes who are not members of these Associations may compete as a guest but will not officially score in the championship. Masters athletes from outside the region will be awarded duplicate medals if they finish in the top 3 in their age division.

* East Region Masters Track & Field Committee surcharge of $5 per athlete will be added to the above fees for those entered in the USATF East Region Masters Championships.

All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No entry will be considered completed unless it is accompanied by full payment of fees and all required documents (see below).

Relay Entries
Relay team members must be entered as individuals in the meet in at least one other event. $10 per relay, payable at time of declaration. One club entry per type of relay. Relay Team declaration by 10 AM on meet day. Must include only registered teams & team members.

Status of Entries

Date of Birth Verification
If you are entered in the Masters Championships and after completing your entry the status of entry page indicates “info. needed” you should fax a copy of your birth certificate or the information page of your passport--with your membership number written on it to the USATF National Office at 800-833-1466.

Awards
USATF East Region Championship medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division in each event (gold, silver and bronze); Masters athletes from outside the region do not displace those from within the region but will be awarded duplicate medals.

Plaques will be awarded to the top two masters teams and to the winning open teams. The Open Men's and Women's team champions will each be awarded a $750 travel stipend for travel expenses to the USATF National Club Track & Field Championships (July 9-10; San Francisco, Calf.)

Team Scoring
Individual and relay events will be scored 5-3-2-1.

Facility
Ichabod Crane HS: Eight lane all weather track. No rail. Three LJ/TJ runways, one HJ pit., one PV pit. Pyramid or 1/4” spikes only. Concessions available. No locker room facilities available. Bathrooms behind concession stand.

Throwing Implements / Pole Vault Poles / Hurdles
Masters athletes must provide their own age division appropriate implements. All athletes must provide their own pole vault poles. Hurdles are adjustable to 29" only.
