2009 USA Team Trials - Americas Race Walk Championships March 29, 2009 The USA Team Trials - Americas Race Walk Championships is the qualifying competition for U.S. citizens eligible to represent the U.S. at the 2009 Americas Race Walk Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador, on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28-29. The USA Team Trials - Americas Race Walking Championships is also an open competition suitable for establishing an IAAF qualifying marks for the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in the 20 km Race Walk. In accordance with IAAF requirements, the competition will be conducted on an AIMS-certified course and officiated by a minimum of 3 IAAF Level II and/or Level III ratified race walk judges. The competition will also host the USA’s IAAF Race Walk Level I Judging Symposium. This will start on Friday, March 27th at the host hotel with a social gathering, continue into Saturday, March 28th with class work and testing at PSJA high school. |
