Athlete Quotes - Men's Shot Put
Christian Cantwell – Winner Men’s Shot Put
On the win:
“Yeah, I mean, I didn’t even throw that good today. I thought I was going to
throw better than that. Nothing is done yet, we’re just getting started.”
What he was looking for today:

On rebounding from being sick:

Adam Nelson, fourth place men's shot put. Qualifies for

his big throws of earlier this year. We have a couple of really young guys that
I really thought were going to step up. It didn't quite happen for them today. I
think the shot put in the U.S. is in a great position. We have a good chance of
doing some great things in the summer. I love seeing guys throw far. It pushes
my farther. Hopefully, I can respond to it.
