Competition Information

Declarations
The Declaration Table will be located on the ground level of the stadium. Declarations can be made during the following hours:

Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday-Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

You MUST declare your intention to participate in each and every event no later than one hour before the event is scheduled to take place. One hour before the scheduled start of each event, declaration sheets for that event will be turned over to the seeding clerk. At that point, the event is closed, and athletes who failed to declare will be scratched from the event. For athletes competing in early morning events, you may declare the day before you compete. Athletes must declare for both first rounds (if scheduled) and finals. If a first round is canceled, ONLY athletes who declared for the first round will be allowed to compete in the final.

Packet pick-up is NOT declaring. Checking in with the clerk is NOT declaring.

HOW TO DECLARE:  Sign the declaration sheet. Declaration sheets will be posted at the awards area on the south end of the stadium

For early morning events they will be posted the afternoon before. You MUST sign these sheets (declaring) if you are going to compete. Failure to declare means you will be scratched from the event and WILL NOT compete.

Athlete Check-In (clerking) at event venue
Running events: Athletes will be clerked in the Clerk of Course Tent. Report to the Clerk Tent no later than 15 minutes before your event is scheduled. Once athletes have been checked in for an event, they will be escorted to their event site by the clerking crew. Hip numbers will be assigned to athletes in the clerking tent.

Field events: Athletes will report directly to their competition venue 60 minutes prior to the start of their competition. Athletes MUST wait for clearance from the event Head Official BEFORE entering the competition area for warm-up and competition. PLEASE LEAVE the competition area once your event is completed.
