Awards

The awards presentation will follow the athletes' and volunteers' free race-day barbeque lunch.

50 km Awards

National Women's Championship

The top three teams will receive a trophy and medals for its scoring members. The top six individuals will receive a medal. Championship awards are available only to U.S. citizens who are 2008 USATF members. Team awards are available only to current USATF member clubs.

National Masters Championships

The top three teams in each division will receive a trophy and medals for its scoring members. The top six individuals in each 5-year division from age 30+ will receive a medal. Foreign athletes in good standing with their governing body are eligible for USA masters race walk championship individual awards.

South Region Championships (open men, open women)

The top three teams will receive a trophy and medals for its scoring members. The top three individuals will receive a medal. Awards go to bona fide residents of the South Region who are USATF members for 2008, regardless of nationality.

Gulf Association Championships

The top three teams will receive a trophy and medals for its scoring members. The top three individuals in each of the divisions (Open, Under- 20, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for men and women) will receive a medal. Awards go to bona fide residents of the Gulf Association who are USATF members for 2008, regardless of nationality.

Overall 50 km Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the overall top ten male and top ten female finishers (large plaques to first places).

Prize money will be awarded as follows:

Additional money will be paid to the top three finishers in the USA Women's Championship to bring their total earnings to $300/$200/$100.

5 km and 20 km Non-championship Races
