Funding

Complete details about funding will be sent along with the "acknowledgement of receipt of entry" material, following the receipt of an athlete's entry form.

• Olympic Team Trials "A" Standard - Funded - Athletes who have run 2:20:00 or faster will receive a hospitality package that includes complimentary domestic air transportation or mileage if you drive, ground transportation, housing and meals for three days/nights. • Olympic Team Trials "B" Standard - Non-Funded - Eligible athletes who have attained a qualifying performance within the 2:20:01 to 2:22:00 marathon standard, or the Olympic Trials "B" standard of 13:40.00 or faster for 5,000 meters track performances, or the Olympic Trials "B" standard of 28:45.00 or faster for 10,000 meters track performances will receive entry into the 2007 Olympic Team Trials - Men's Marathon but no funding.

Note: An athlete whose entry into the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Men's Marathon is based solely on the "automatic qualification" provision (see qualifying information) is not eligible to receive funding to the Trials unless he has already met the Olympic Trials "A" standard.
