Kevin Young to Speak to Athletes

National Track & Field Hall of Famer and 400m Hurdles world record holder Kevin Young will open the 2007 USA Youth Outdoor Championships on Wednesday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m. Athletes, coaches, and parents should make plans to be at the track stadium of the Sports Complex on the campus of Benedictine University for a special program of events, including a Be A Champion message from Kevin Young, the 1992 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 400m Hurdles.

The Be A Champion program is aimed at educating youth, parents, educators and coaches about the positive results that come from leading a physically active, drug-free and healthy lifestyle. More information about Be A Champion.
