2007 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Champs.
December 8, 2007
More than 2,200 athletes journeyed to Lawrence, Kansas, to compete at the famous Rim Rock Farm cross country venue. Considered one of the premier cross country courses in the country, athletes were offered the opportunity to compete on the same trails transversed by collegiate athletes during the Big Eight Cross Country Championships in 1983, 1991 and 1995 and also the 1998 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Rim Rock also is used for the Kansas high school state championships each year.
Competition took place in five two-year age divisions, from ages 10 & under to age 18.
The USATF Missouri Valley association and Lawrence Sports Corporation were proud hosts of the 2007 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships, presented by Finish Line.
