From Ontario Airport: Start out going northwest on North Way toward E. Airport Dr. Stay straight to go onto S. Archibald Ave. Turn slight left onto ramp. Air Travel

The Walnut area is served by several international, regional and local airports. The closest international airport is Ontario (ONT) airport. Located approximately 16 miles from Mt. San Antonio College, Ontario has 224 daily flights providing service to every major city in the United States. In addition, the Los Angeles International (LAX) airport is located approximately 41 miles from Mt. San Antonio College.

Ground Transportation

Ontario Airport provides courtesy shuttle service between the airline terminals, Economy Lot F, Daily Lot 5, and the Ground Transportation Center (GTC). The GTC is the airport's central facility for connections to all on-airport and off-airport car rental businesses.

Shuttle Route Service Hours and Departure Frequency:

• Economy Lot F - service 24 hours, every 10 to 12 minutes
• Parking Lot 5 - service 24 hours, every 10 to 12 minutes
• GTC - service 24 hours, every 5 to 7 minutes

All courtesy shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Shuttle departures may occur less frequently from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. because of reduced airline flight activity.

Car Rentals

A number of car rental companies have on-site access at ONT while a few have off-site access. All rental lots at LAX are located off-site; companies are permitted to pick-up and drop-off their customers directly from the airline terminals using courtesy shuttles. Arriving customers at LAX can meet the courtesy shuttles under the purple sign "Rental Car Shuttles" on the lower/arrival level islands outside baggage claim. Access at both airports is noted in the list below.

Taxi and Van Service

Ontario Airport: Taxi service is available at the curbs outside of baggage claim on a walk up basis. In addition, travelers can find door-to-door van service at the island curbs outside of baggage claim. Van service is available on a walk-up basis and by advance reservations.

Los Angeles International Airport: Taxi service is available curbside on the lower/arrival level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating Taxis. Passengers will be presented with a ticket stating typical fares to major destinations.
