Rules

USA Track & Field competition rules shall apply.

Packet Pickup

Athlete bib numbers can be picked up by the club coaches/administrators near the entrance to the stadium.

Check-In

Note: Athletes who have not checked in by the times indicated below will be scratched from the event; no exceptions!

Check-in will be at the Clerk of the Course station at the south end of the track (near the 100m starting line) per the following schedule:

  • Running Events: Not less than 30 minutes prior to start of the event. Athletes will be assembled in the Clerk's station near the 100m start 15 minutes prior to the start of each event and escorted to the on-field Clerk's Holding Tent.
  • Throws and Long/Triple Jump: Not less than 45 minutes prior to start of event. Athletes will be walked from the Clerk's station to their competition site for warm-up.
  • Pole Vault and High Jump: Not less than 60 minutes prior to start of event. Athletes will be walked from the Clerk's station to their competition site for warm-up.

Bib & Hip Numbers

Bib numbers will be used for this competition.  Bib numbers should be pinned to the front of the athlete's jersey.   An athlete will not be able to check-in with the Clerk of the Course without a bib number.  Hip numbers will be assigned during the check-in process.

Relay Declarations

Each relay team must submit a relay declaration card (PDF) no later than 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The cards must be turned in to the clerking tent. Relay declaration cards will only be accepted from teams that are properly entered in the meet. Upon receipt of the declaration card, the athletes listed will be verified to ensure they are eligible to represent the club and meet the eligibility requirements of the championships. Athletes only running relays are eligible to compete as long as they are a 2007 USATF member and are properly affiliated with the club as part of their USATF membership. Athletes not meeting these criteria will not be eligible to run on a relay for a club.

Protests

Protests must be filed in writing within 30 minutes of the results being announced and must be accompanied by a $50 cash deposit, refundable only if the protest is upheld.
