National Team Processing

ATHLETES MUST BRING PASSPORTS!

The 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will serve as the selection meet for the international competitions listed below for Open athletes. All athletes are required to complete team processing in order to be eligible for 2007 USA National Teams. Those who do not complete team sign-up by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24 will forfeit their rank for selection to national teams for the 2007 season.

The following teams will draw their rosters from finish order at the Outdoor Championships:

• 2007 USA vs. Germany Decathlon & Heptathlon (August 18-19)
• 2007 Pan American Games* (July 22-29) - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
• 2007 IAAF World Championships in Athletics (August 25 - September 2) - Osaka, Japan
• 2007 NACAC Championships (July 13-15) - El Salvador, San Salvador
• 2007 USA vs. Africa (date TBD) - tentative

Athletes should bring the following to team processing:

• Travel and competition plans for the summer
• Valid U.S. passport*
• Necessary information to complete forms (contact information for agents, coaches, etc.)

* SPECIAL NOTE: Pan American Games team members will require a visa, so athletes must bring their passports with them to the Championships. Passports must be valid for 6 months after the return date and have 2 blank visa pages.

The first eight (8) places in all track and field finals should complete paperwork at Team Processing due to the fact that there will be several national teams competing this summer. All semifinalists in the 100m, 200m, and 400m should also complete the team sign-up process in order to be eligible for the national team relay pools.

Reminder: without exception, those not completing team processing will not be eligible for 2007 outdoor national teams.

Team Processing Schedule

Team processing for Open athletes will take place in Cosmopolitan Room B at the Hyatt Regency Hotel from Thursday, June 21 - Sunday, June 24. Athletes must complete team processing on the day of their finals. We strongly suggest coming to the team sign-up room in the Hyatt immediately after drug testing.
