Timing & Exchange Zones

All relay team members are required to pick up their bib number and packet at the 2 day expo at the Convention Center.

The Team Captain will also pick up one (1) timing chip which will be passed from one team member to the next.  The lead-off relay  team member (1st leg) will wear the chip on their ankle, cross over the timing mats at the start line and proceed to the 1st exchange area. After crossing the timing mats at the 1st exchange zone (making absolutely sure that it is within 1 foot of the timing mat so it can be properly 'read') it will be handed off to the next team member (2nd leg).

If the timing chip is carried rather than worn around the ankle, it MUST be touched to the timing mat at each location (start line, each exchange zone, finish line)!
