Selection Procedures

• Athletes will be selected in the following events:
  Men - 100m, 400m, 1500m, 110m Hurdles, 3000m Steeplechase, High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Shot Put and Hammer Throw
  Women - 100m, 400m, 1500m, 100m Hurdles, 3000m Steeplechase, High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Shot Put and Hammer Throw
   
• The highest placing finisher in each final at the 2006 AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships may select themselves to represent the USA National Team in events being contested at the DecaNation.
   
• All athletes must be eligible to represent the USA in international competition based on the 2006 Bylaws and Competition Rules of USATF and the IAAF.
