3,000-meter Course

The course starts in the main athletic field and goes 400m before any significant turn. At 550m, there is a small down and side hill. The 800m mark comes between the two ball fields. There is a short downhill at 860m when the runners pass through a stone wall. They then run 250m across the main athletic field onto a stone dust trail 10' wide.

At 1,200m, the runners will take a sharp right turn on a path that goes behind the physical plant. This path narrows down to 8' in places.

At 1,350m, the runners descend a 270m hill that ends in a lower athletic field. The hill has two sections and is not one continuous descent. The mile mark is right after the runners enter the lower field. After turning in the lower field, the athletes will cross a road and have a gradual uphill then downhill loop of approximately 300m. They enter the lower field a second time, having run 2,000m. They next begin to climb the 270m hill in reverse using a slightly different course to prevent two-way conflicts. At the top, they retrace the path behind the physical plant and the stone dust trail. They are now at the main athletic field, 500m from the finish.

The runners stay on the stone dust path for 200m. At 2,700m, they turn right, run 140m, go up and come down a short hill. Sixty meters later, they turn right again, run 100m in front of the football stands, and finish in front of section 1.

4,000-meter Course

The course starts in the main athletic field and goes 400m before any significant turn, then turns to the right, and then to the right again after approximately 100m. It follows a path that will keep the baseball field to the runners' left side. At 650m, the runners will go through an opening in the stone wall, take a left turn, run 140m, then go up a short hill and back through the stone wall. This is approximately the ½-mile mark. The course then goes between the baseball and softball fields, up a small hill and retraces the first loop in the opposite direction. When the runners pass the course's first turn going in the opposite direction they will have run approximately ¾ths of a mile. From that point they run back into the main athletic field.

At 1,500m, the course narrows to a 10' wide stone dust trail. At 1,600m the athletes take a sharp right turn onto a path that goes behind the physical plant. This 150m path narrows down to 8' in places.

At 1,750m, the runners descend a 270m hill that ends in a lower athletic field. The hill has two sections and is not one continuous descent. The 2,000m mark is right after the runners enter the lower field. After turning in the lower field, the athletes will cross a road and have a gradual uphill then downhill loop of approximately 300m. They enter the lower field a second time, having run 2,400m. They next begin to climb the 270m hill in reverse using a slightly different course to prevent two-way conflicts. At the top, they retrace the path behind the physical plant and the stone dust trail. They are now at the main athletic field, 1,100m from the finish.

From 2,900m to 3,100m the runners stay on the stone dust path. At 3,100m they run into the back field and repeat the first loop of the race. At 3,700m they come through the stone wall, turn left, run 140m, go up and come down a short hill. Fifty meters later, they turn right, run 100m in front of the football stands, and finish in front of section 1.

5,000-meter Course

The course starts in the main athletic field and goes 400m before any significant turn. The course turns right, then right again after 100m and follows a path that will keep the baseball field to the runners' left side. At 650m, the runners will go through an opening in the stone wall, take a left turn, run 140m and go up a short hill and back through the stone wall. This is 800m into the race. The course then goes between the baseball and softball fields, up a small hill and retraces the first loop in the opposite direction. When the runners pass the course's first turn running in the opposite direction, they will have run ¾ths of a mile. From that point they run back into the main athletic field.

At approximately 1,500m, the course narrows down to a 10' wide stone dust trail. At 1,600m, the athletes will take a sharp right turn on a path that goes behind the physical plant. This 150m path narrows down to 8' in places.

At 1,750m, the athletes descend a 270m long hill that takes the athletes into a lower athletic field. The hill is broken into two sections and is not one continuous descent. The 2,000m mark is right after the runners enter the lower field. Very shortly after that, the runners will run a long 2,000m loop in the woods.

The first ½ mile of the wooded trail is winding and has rolling hills. At 3,000m, the course starts to turn back towards the lower athletic field. Shortly after that, there is a long hill. The two mile mark and a bridge are a short distance after the hill. Right after the bridge, there is a winding set of short up and downhill climbs.

When the athletes exit the woods' loop and enter the lower field a second time they have gone 4,000m and begin a climb of 270m, ascending the hill they came down. At the top of the hill, they run the path behind the physical plant and 100 meters of the stone dust trail. At this point athletes are next to the main athletic field, 500m from the finish.

From 4,500m to 4,700m, the runners stay on the stone dust path. At 4,700m, they turn right, run 140m, then go up and come down a short hill. Sixty meters after that, the runners make another right turn, run 100m in front of the football stands, and finish in front of section 1.
