Housing Information As of Monday, May 23rd, the USATF-contracted hotel blocks at the Long Beach Westin and Hilton hotels have sold out. Due to other city-wide events, many hotels in the area are sold out as well. We have located a few hotels near the Home Depot Center that currently have availability during the week of the Championships. Groups requesting five or more rooms should contact Bill Wright, Senior Sales Manager of Marriott, at 310-337-5362 to locate a group rate at one of these properties. Individuals looking for reservations can find the best hotel rates by checking one of the travel internet websites or one of the Marriott properties listed below. Hotels located near the airport may also carry a better rate and availability. Marriott Properties with some remaining availability as of May 25 Rooms and rates listed below are not guaranteed and are subject to change based upon hotel occupancy. These hotels do not contain a special USATF room block and are not included in the USATF event transportation system. Travel Internet Websites Hilton Long Beach The Long Beach Hilton will serve as the Athlete Headquarters hotel for junior athletes and coaches. A limited number of rooms are available for reservations at the USATF special rate of $95 per night (plus tax). Contact the hotel directly at 800-445-8667 and mention "USA Track & Field" for the single/double rate of $95 per night (plus tax). A $20 per night/per person charge will be assessed for more than two occupants per room. The USATF special rate ends once the USATF room block is full or May 19, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. ET, whichever comes first. After that, rooms will be on a space-available basis at a higher rate. If reservations are cancelled within 72 hours of arrival or reservation is a "no show", guests will be charged one night's room rate per each room being held. Guests who check-out prior to the reservation check-out date will be charged an early departure fee of $50 per room. The event shuttle will operation to/from the track and the Hilton. Driving Directions from the Hilton to the Home Depot Center The Hilton is located on Ocean Boulevard and has direct access to the 710 (Long Beach) Freeway. From the Hilton, follow the signage to obtain on-ramp access.
