Entry Information The Junior Olympic program is a progressional series of meets consisting of preliminary, Association, Regional, and National meets. As athletes advance upon performance at each level, they only need to submit an entry form at the first level of competition (i.e., an athlete cannot directly submit an entry form for the Regional competition; he/she must have competed and advanced at the Association meet; the entry form is then automatically forwarded to the next level). Per USATF Rule 245.1(d): An Association is allocated, by agreement with other Associations in its Region, a certain number of athletes and relay teams from the Association level to the Regional level through the Association Championships. The top three finishers and the top three relay teams advance from the Regional to the National Championships. In the Junior Olympic combined events, the top two finishers in the Regional meet advance automatically to the National Championships. A third finisher may also advance, provided he/she meets the performance standards. Entry Forms
