Prize Money

$220,000 in prize money will be paid to the first- through twentieth-place finishers as follows:

Olympic Marathon Team bonuses

$10,000 will be paid to each athlete who participates in the 2004 Olympic Marathon event.

Additional Prize Money

Additionally, USA Track & Field will award championship funds to the first- through fifth-place finishers as follows:

Notes:

• Athletes with remaining collegiate eligibility are not eligible to receive any prize money.
• Athletes who are over the income cap (over $125,000) are not eligible to receive the basic grant funds listed above as additional prize money.
• Prize money will not be distributed until all drug testing results have become final.
