Beth Alford-Sullivan - Middle Distance

Currently in her sixth season at Penn State University, Alford-Sullivan's women's program in 2003 posted best-ever Big Ten finishes both indoors (third) and outdoors (tied for second), grabbed a best-ever 10th place NCAA Outdoor Championship finish, and set a school record with nine All-Americans. A member of the 2001 and 2003 U.S. World Championships coaching staffs, Alford-Sullivan is a 10-time Coach-of-the-Year award winner in cross country and track and field. Prior to her stint at Penn State, Alford-Sullivan was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year three times, NCAA Regional Coach of the Year twice and NCAA Division I Coach of the Year in 1996 while at Stanford University.
