Many members of Team USA for the 2004 Olympic Games will take part in Team Training Camp, on the island of Crete, prior to the start of the Olympics in Athens. Media may schedule interviews with athletes at the camp from August 5-15.

USATF Director of Communications, Jill M. Geer, will be with the team on Crete. To inquire about media credentials or scheduling interviews during Team Training Camp, you may contact Geer, beginning August 4, on her Greek cell phone. Several informal press events will be organized at Team Training Camp. To receive information on those events, e-mail Geer.

The team will travel to Athens for Olympic competition throughout the Games, with most athletes residing at the Athletes Village.
