Facility

The track facility at the University at Buffalo has a proud history of hosting major competitions, most recently the 2000 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships. The facility seats 35,000 spectators around an eight-lane, all-weather track. All field events, with the exception of discus and javelin, are in full spectator view of stadium seating. Shaded concourses with restroom facilities and concession stands are located on each side of the stadium.

All straight-away events, 100 meters, and all hurdle events will be contested at the same time for boys and girls on both sides of the track. The facility is smoke- and alcohol-free and coolers are permitted in the stadium with plastic-only containers. Tents are allowed in designated areas only.
