Declaration Information

Once properly entered, all athletes must complete the declaration process and declare whether he/she will or will not compete in each event he/she has entered.

Notes

• Declarations will be conducted online. Athletes needing an alternative method of declaration may call 317-261-0476. Phone lines will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET on 6/16/03 and from 9:00 a.m. - 2:59 p.m. ET on 6/17/03.
• In order to make a declaration, please have the athlete's:
  • 2003 USATF membership number
  • Membership password (click here to retrieve your password if you don't know it)
  • Name
  • Affiliation
  • Event(s) declaring
  • Event(s) scratching
  • Qualifying event and qualifying mark
  • Name, location, and date of event where qualified; meet director and facility names
  • Phone number for call-back questions
• Athletes not declaring by 2:59 p.m. ET, Tuesday, June 17, 2003 will be scratched from the competition.
• Petitions for late declaration will be accepted from 12:00 noon until 2:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 and must be accompanied by a late declaration fee of $100. Petitions may be filed by calling 317-261-0476. Decisions on late declaration petitions will be acted upon by a special committee prior to the Seeding Committee meeting which will be held at 1:00 p.m. PT on Wednesday afternoon.
